About Us

Rich’s passion for horticulture began whilst still at school in the 90s, gaining experience at the prestigious Jockey Club in Newmarket and Anglesey Abbey.

This led to studying NVQ 3 level Horticulture at the Cambridgeshire College of Agriculture and Horticulture.

Following college, Rich was fortunate to be accepted onto the trainee technician scheme at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden, where he eventually secured a full time position for a further two years, before pursuing self-employment as a freelance gardener.

An opportunity to work with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission led to a horticultural management role, designing planting schemes and overseeing horticultural operations across the east of England.

A craving for a more creative future saw Rich return to his ‘roots’ in freelance gardening.
